Aston Martin DB4GTby ~yeahbutnobut

Aston Martin DB4GT, a classic from the 60's. Along with the DB5 probably the most elegant Aston Martins, the new ones are stunning but these old girls really have that extra something for me.

Done in Illustrator CS with a mixture of blends, gradients, meshes and solid shapes.

That's gorgeous. To me there is NO Aston prettier than the DB4 (stick out headlights). I wish I could do that, but I have no clue how to use a computer for art.

Aston Martin is one hell of a British car.

Interesting fact -- had my mother kept her last name, I would have ended up being (and this is no joke) Matthew Austin-Martin. >_< She almost did that to me on purpose and gave me the first name of Martin so that on class rosters I would appear as Austin, Martin. >_<

But anyway.

The reflections on the side of the car look really good and the spokes are insane.

Thanks, its very difficult to get the pattern of the spokes right - too easy to just blast away.
